More Attempts at Photography....

Well, here's yet another attempt at photography by me. I turned the lights off in the kids room, arranged Josh and Brett's comforters as my backdrop and used a small flexible desk lamp for lighting. This one reminds me of a cd cover maybe....if only Melissa could sing! I put her name at the bottom trying to make it look that way, so I posted the picture with and without her name.

This is good work, not an attempt but a finished product....and that solemn look from the disinterested youth gives it a dark quality...
now doesn't that sound like I know what I'm talking about? Just try to have a bit of fun with it (like me!).

Thanks! Maybe I could be a photographer some day. I wouldn't want to go do school photos or weddings though! I actually took those pictures with my camcorder, I have to put it on a tripod because in my aging I've acquired the Uncle Rufus shakes. I like the photo you changed to on your profile when you were younger. It's cute.
Love you,
Sis

That is really good! I did wedding photos once, and was really nervous.I loaned my camera to someone a few years after that to take wedding photos with, not knowing that something had happened to my camera. Each of their pictures had a totally black side.I hated it, but I guess it's O.K. They were only married for five months and really hate each other!

Hey Mark! Yes!! I remember you! As for us Howard's, my husband has come up with the theory (and Janet can attest to this) that we were all just born with a gene that automatically makes us see the "glass half empty." He's tried to break me of it, but sometimes you just can't teach an old dog new tricks, so I let him see the glass half full and I just ride along with him.
Thanks for the comment!!

Mark,
I visited that blog...I'll have to cool down a bit and then I'm going to post to it...otherwise I might be very nasty!!! lol
I'd challenge that man to come sit with us in our sales office and prejudge some of our customers by what they drive, how they dress and the intelligence with which they speak when they come in the office. I can honestly say he might just change his mode of thinking. Although to keep my humorous side I have to say I saw a shirt the other day in Spencer's that said, "your trailer park called, they want their trash back" and I couldn't help but laugh. Guess that's just the problem with the world today, idiots automatically "labeling" people by what they live in, what they drive, etc. and not looking at the person.
Watch for my post on that site....it will be coming soon!
